You will need to bring your own lunch/dinner or pay $10 for lunch & $15 for dinner.

You need to have your deposit of $50 paid by this Friday either at the shop at Scrapbook Outletnz or by emailing me for my account details. We will not be accepting late registrations.

photography workshop

is becoming more of a reality for us this weekend... my darling husband has been chatting with a photographer he knows through work promotions type stuff who is happy to come & give us some tips etc... a few things to iron out e.g. like ensuring he's in the country that weekend...he does lots of different types of photography - people, events, scenery...

if this falls through I hope to do a 'photographic' drive or scavenger hunt type thing to challenge our camera creativity - this is weather dependent though... in the mean time grab your camera manuals & read up about night photography & fireworks for Winter Fest opening night!

If you haven't already & you hope to come you need to either pay via Scrapbook Outletnz (check other posts for the link) or send me an email for my banking details. The full costs are listed in a previous post also - remember there was a reduction to these!

I hope to have a sneak or two of some other workshops planned for this weekend by the start of next week!

With the price drop we also have a numbers limit added in... you need to be paid up with your deposit etc to guarantee a place by Friday the 13th of June (oooooh, scary LOl). You need to pay the full amount before the start of the retreat - Monday 23rd of June is our date for this. Please see the previous post for costs & how you can pay.

These costs cover your accomodation and meals. you will need to bring any special beverages with you - we will have tea, coffee, milo, raro & water on hand. You may wish to bring your favourite snacks too...
If arriving earlier on the Friday we will need to add in meal costs.

some news

With one of our team continuing to be unwell... we are having to 'scale' down what will still be an amazingly creative long weekend! The weekend costs will be 'scaled' down accordingly... I'll let you know when I Know :-)

As I type we are working on an alternative to workshops which will give you some freedom to create what you want to create... when you want to create it!

There will still be fireworks on the Saturday night (as long as the weather's OK) with maybe some champers by firelight after... there will still be some cool creative company, a make & take or two, demo... and if there's any profit it will go to charity (we are working on a charity fundraising alternative).

I have been informed that Stampin Up is coming to this retreat also but more info to come...

I think it's less than 6 weeks away now...

Hey, I'm running a promotions meeting all weekend at our CIS venue for 2008 this weekend... some of the team who arrived early are loving it and agree that the photos on the website don't do it justice!

& the chef, well, I'm married to him LOL (& no he doesn't cook all the time at home), has cooked for heads of government and diplomats and has a London City & Guilds award with distinction & aMedal of Excellence (of which there was only 96 awarded worldwide when he received it)... he's planning something special for the Saturday night along with other yummy treats all the long weekend.
